The Ultra Glide Needle Plate uses the same non-stick technology included in the very popular Ultra Glide / Teflon Foot. Now, you can glide easily over even the stickiest fabrics like leathers, vinyls, and oil cloth with a slick surface on both the foot and your needle plate!
Molded from a special resin that allows easier sewing of sticky materials, the ultra-glide foot moves smoothly over faux leather, vinyl and even plastics on the ultra-glide needle plate. This non-stick attachment glides along with no drag, so you can sew these surfaces just like they were regular fabric.
